Learning From My Wagering Blunders
First to explain why I write this article. I have been gambling online or at a brick and mortar betting houses for a great many years. I have discovered, the addiction can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are flat broke. Especially if you’re on a winning run. I have gone through countless thousands of dollars in only a tiny period of time and to this day on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you start to be aware of your defeats and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you become queasy in your belly and the more you attempt the faster you are deprived.
When you see that you are up, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, don’t say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, believe me, this logic hardly ever functions. Say you are betting on slots, have an amount set aside prior to beginning your play. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how appealing. If you actually win, put that in a separate pot. Don’t risk your winnings no matter what. Once you have gone through your primary set limit, bail out. Head out, regardless if it’s on the net or at a land based betting house, don’t stay around. Always remember, there will be a different day, a different time.
Remember, gambling should be exciting not backbreaking, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t afford the loss, don’t even begin.
